If you are confused about how all this works, trust us, we understand, which is why we wanted to clarify, just in case you are not up to date on your Just Dance knowledge or if you wanted to get the new game.

Just Dance 2023 Edition is the newest game and also functions as a new platform for the series, which will be continued to be updated instead of having to release a new game yearly. Technically the game is now simply called ‘Just Dance’ and this will be the last yearly edition!

Just Dance+ is a subscription based service only available for Just Dance 2023 Edition, meaning that if you have one of the older titles, you won’t be able to get it. It’s also different from Just Dance Unlimited which is another subscription service that started with Just Dance 2016 and lasted until Just Dance 2022. JD Unlimited included over 700 songs from past titles which could be all accessed as long as you had an active subscription. Just Dance+, however, came with about 150 classic songs to start with, which is why this service gets updated so often.

Just Dance 2023 Edition (and beyond) will get new songs often and Just Dance+ will get songs from previous games on a weekly and monthly basis.

We hope this helps clear things up. You can also read our review to dig deeper on this new entry of the series. Enjoy the new songs!

So confusing... I already have Just Dance Unlimited. Is that staying in place?

I am purchasing Just Dance 2023. If Just Dance Unlimited is not being retired, would a person want both subscriptions, Just Dance+ and Just Dance Unlimited? Seems a little excessive. And, if this is a case, does that mean only one or the other would have certain songs?
