Official Mother Novels Get Fan Translations
Have your Mother read it to you.
It’s hard being a non-Japanese Mother fan. So much of this beloved series merch and games have been stuck overseas for so long and that doesn’t seem to be changing soon. Thankfully though this series has fostered a strong community dedicated to celebrating this beloved franchise through fan works and translations and that holds true today.
Translator Nyaasu has translated the Mother (EarthBound Beginnings) and Mother 2 (EarthBound) novelizations written by Saori Kumi. You can read them at the link below.
For those unaware, these novels retell the events of the first two games with extra details thrown in. They were even asked for and approved by series creator Shigesato Itoi in case you we’re concerned of their authenticity!
