New Super Mario Bros. Movie music featured in footage of Brazilian Mario parade

The Twitter account for Universal Pictures Brazil recently shared some footage from a parade held in honor of the upcoming Super Mario Bros. Movie. While it looks like a fun time was had by all attendees, the exciting part for those of us watching from home is the music accompanying the footage. It appears to be a new orchestration of various Mario themes that most likely comes directly from the new movie’s soundtrack, composed by Brian Tyler.
The snippet of music featured is only a minute long, but it includes variations of the original Super Mario theme, the Underground theme, and even Fever from Dr. Mario. We’ll have to wait to see how and where these tunes show up in the movie when it’s released on April 7, 2023.
