The situation between Russia and Ukraine fundamentally changed how business is handled in both regions, with Russia being blocked from all sorts of products and shipments. That includes Nintendo-released games and hardware, yet Russian Nintendo managers are finding a way to keep the products flowing.

Achivka LLC is a Russian entity that has stepped in while Nintendo lays low, and they’re importing various Nintendo products for sale in Russia. Retailers in Russia are stocking new Nintendo titles like Metroid Prime: Remastered, and those copies include Achivka stickers on the boxes. Along with that, Achivka has also declared the Switch as fit for sale in the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU).

Achivka is run and partially owned by Nintendo Russia CEO Yasha Haddaji, a name you might recognize for past stories on shady dealings and customer complaints. Along with that, Russia corporate event manager Ksenia Kachalova also holds a minority stake in Achivka. Nintendo is yet to offer comment on this matter.
