UK March 2022 sales: Switch takes second spot, Kirby enters top 10 of best selling games
The Pink Demon has joined the battle.
We shared last week that the Nintendo Switch came out as the second best-selling hardware for March 2022 in the UK, behind the Xbox Series X/S but in front of the PS5. While we still don’t have concrete numbers, we now know that the Nintendo Switch fell 21% month-on-month, but that did not dethrone the Switch as it is still the best-selling hardware of the year.
Moving on to the games and how they performed during March 2022, according to GSD, Nintendo has 3 games in the top 20 best-selling games, 2 of which are in the top 10. Kirby and the Forgotten Land entered the fray and took the No. 10 spot, despite only releasing by the end of the month and only counting the physical release as Nintendo does not share the digital sales. Pokémon Legends: Arceus sits at No. 8, while Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is at No. 17.
