New Tales from the Borderlands game coming this year, platforms unannounced

Tales from the Borderland is a choice-driven narrative adventure through the Borderlands universe that made its way to Switch, along with some of the other mainline Borderlands titles. If you were a fan of this spin-off title, you’ll be happy to know that a new installment is in the works.

Gearbox’s Randy Pitchford confirmed that another Tales from the Borderlands game is in the works, and it’ll release sometime in 2022. This game will feature all-new characters, and is being built in-house by Gearbox.

What wasn’t shared were the target platforms for this game. With the previous installment coming to Switch, there’s a least a chance the follow-up will head our way as well. We should find out sometime in Summer 2022, as that’s when Gearbox will be sharing more details on this sequel.
