Sonic Origins is coming to Switch on June 23rd, 2022, and it includes Sonic the Hedgehog 1, 2, Sonic 3 & Knuckles and Sonic CD in one package. Unfortunately, that’ll soon be one of the only ways to own those titles digitally.

SEGA has announced that on May 20th, 2022, they will delist the digital standalone versions of Sonic the Hedgehog 1, 2, Sonic 3 & Knuckles and Sonic CD. The only version to escape delisting will be Sonic the Hedgehog 1 and 2 in the SEGA AGES series, and Sonic the Hedgehog 2 on the Switch Online SEGA Genesis app. Any other standalone versions of these games will disappear in less than a month.

If you want any of these games digitally in their standalone form, now’s the time to download them. If you wait until May 21st, 2022, you’ll be out of luck.
