In a new video uploaded April 26th 2022 by Billy Kametz, the voice actor has revealed his diagnosis and ongoing treatment for stage 4 colon cancer. In the video shown above, Kametz comments on the huge amount of support and positivity he is surrounded with, as well as the hope he has for his recovery. He has also detailed that he will be taking a break from his work to focus on treatment.
Billy Kametz is known for lending his voice to a number of different projects, including Blue from Pokémon Masters, Ferdinand von Aegir from Fire Emblem: Three Houses, Ash’s Rotom Phone from the Pokémon Journeys animated series, and much more.
