Kingdom Hearts reference spotted in the new Chip n’ Dale: Rescue Rangers movie
Nice detective work!
A brand-new Chip n’ Dale: Rescue Rangers movie is coming to Disney+ on May 20th, 2022, and it’s giving off serious Who Framed Roger Rabbit vibes. This film appears to be chock-full of Disney-related cameos, and eagle-eyed fans have spotted a reference to none other than Kingdom Hearts.
At the 1:21 mark in the trailer, a big wall of evidence is shown. Each evidence baggie includes some sort of item that’s a reference to a Disney property. Right near the middle of the screen is none other than a keyblade. You can see it in the image below.
With the amount of cameos and Easter eggs in this film, there’s definitely a chance there’s more Kingdom Hearts references to be found. We’ll have to wait until May 20th, 2022 to find out!

2y agoThe upper middle looks like Pikachu's tail. Not sure about the movie though. I've been rewatching the series since they released it on bluray recently.

Not sure if I'm going to like this movie. I don't know why they couldn't traditionally animate Chip. Or give him his normal voice.
