Back in June last year, Nintendo released an official soundtrack for Animal Crossing: New Horizons. That 4-disc set included over 170 tunes from Animal Crossing: New Horizons, which would make you think Nintendo had shared all the music there was to share. Today we find out that’s not the case.

Nintendo has revealed Animal Crossing: New Horizons Original Soundtrack 2, which features some content from the first release, a slew of new tracks, plus some bonus features. Along with that, last year’s K.K. Slider Music: Instrumental Collection will be getting a limited vinyl pressing as well.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons Original Soundtrack 2 is set to release in Japan on June 22nd, 2022, and is priced at 7,480 yen. This release includes 140 tracks across 5 CDs, and features music from Animal Crossing: New Horizons up to the first major update (2.0), so these tracks were not included in the first album release. This package also includes a DVD 4 radio exercises, along with a K.K. Slider promo video. Finally, this release also comes with 12 special postcards and a calisthenics attendance card.

It’s worth noting that this album does not include music from the Happy Home Paradise update.

Even more fantastic is the reveal of a vinyl release for the K.K. Slider Music: Instrumental Collection. This album is due out in Japan on November 23rd, 2022, and is priced at 4,620 yen. The album contains 19 songs in all, with 18 coming from the original K.K. Slider Music: Instrumental Collection, and 1 being a bonus track.

If you want to get a closer look at the packaging for these releases, you can see that and more at Nintendo’s official site.

Man, I’d love to be able to preorder the vinyl. Hope I can import to the US.
