Mother's Day event announced for Pikmin Bloom

Mother’s Day is on May 8th, 2022, and those who play Pikmin Bloom will have an in-game way to celebrate the occasion.

In honor of the holiday, Pikmin Bloom’s Big Flowers will turn into carnations when you plant regular blue, red, yellow, or white petals around them. Along with that, postcards obtained through expeditions will feature a limited-time “Mother’s Day” design.

That’s not all there is to enjoy on Mother’s Day, though. You’ll receive 1 bonus coin per 250 flowers planted instead of the usual 500 (capped at 60 coins/day), and Carnation Petals will be available at about 63% less coins than the usual amount in the shop.
