ConcernedApe has announced that Stardew Valley, their juggernaut 2016-released country-life simulation RPG, has sold 20 million copies across all platforms as of March 2022. It’s unknown exactly how many of those copies belong to the 2017 Nintendo Switch port, but 13 of the 20 million have been confirmed to be for PC. Using that info, we can reduce to 7 million copies that were sold between the Switch, Xbox, PlayStation, and mobile versions, and Switch likely took a large chunk of that, due to its success as an indie machine.

Back in October of 2021, ConcernedApe revealed that a spiritual sequel to Stardew Valley is now in development. Check out the early look of Haunted Chocolatier here in case you missed it.
