Ubisoft’s free to play sports game Roller Champions was confirmed to have gone gold last month after a delay. Now, an apparent leak via Twitter user @ALumia_Italia indicates the game may be releasing in just a couple of weeks, on May 25th, 2022. Their tweet also includes a brand new piece of artwork showing off some stylized competitors from the game.

While the tweet in question specifically mentions the XBox version of the game, it has been confirmed as a multiplatform release. If true, it’s feasible that the Nintendo Switch version will be released simultaneously, if not shortly after.

As of now, Ubisoft hasn’t made any official comment as to a specified release date outside of Spring 2022. While this source has apparently posted some credible leaks in the past, nothing is yet confirmed. May 25th is right around the corner, so we’ll find out shortly whether it’s true or not!

It could just be me, but I find it strange the logo goes out of its way to mention it's a "Ubisoft Original."

At this point Ubisoft's name damages - not elevates - any product it's attached to.

IIt'd probably be a better idea to quietly exclude the up-front Ubisoft branding to make a better first impression on potential fans of this game.
