Switch surpasses total sales of the PS4 in the U.S.

Nintendo continues to see unbelievable success with the Switch, and this month’s NPD figures have given Nintendo yet another feather to place in their cap.
According to NPD’s Mat Piscatella, the Switch has officially surpassed the total install base of the PS4 in the United States. The PS4 is an absolute juggernaut for Sony and continues to do well, but somehow the Switch has already surpassed its sales figures in the states!
This latest achievement now makes Switch the 4th best-selling console in U.S history, and the 6th best-selling gaming hardware overall. The only platforms left to beat now are the PS2, Xbox 360, and Wii!
