Many Final Fantasy fans are wondering if Square Enix has something special in the works for the 25th anniversary of Final Fantasy VII, and it seems we’ll find out soon enough.

Square Enix is going to have some sort of Final Fantasy VII information to share in June, according to Square Enix’s Tetsuya Nomura. As you might expect, specifics on what will be discussed were not shared.

It’s likely this will be tied to the REMAKE series, but there’s always a chance that some new merch and goodies will be revealed as well. If that’s the case, we’ll be sure to bring those details to you.

Please give this game a rest already. Remake Part 2? Fair enough. But nothing more! You have more than 10 other games and even more spin offs!

I, too, think that Square Enix is putting too many resources into FF7. I get that it's popular, but I just think of all the new things they could be making instead of trying to relive a game that was impressive in the late 90's.
