Nintendo has given us unique ways to play Legend of Zelda games in the past. Skyward Sword had players using motion controls to swing the Master Sword and tackle other in-game movements, while Phantom Hourglass and Spirit Tracks implemented touch controls for a “touching is good” approach. Now a fan is picking up the torch to offer a full-body experience for Link.

Modder Lledos wasn’t satisfied playing The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom with the standard controller setup and its minor motion controls. Instead, he wanted something that put his whole body to use. That’s why he got to work on a piecemeal suit that has him working up a real sweat while playing.

As you can see in the video above, Lledos cooked up various input methods that let him feel much closer to the action of Tears of the Kingdom. From swinging the sword to firing a bow, bashing with a shield and even manipulating puzzles, the modifications Lledos came up with are nothing short of impressive.

It’s definitely not the easiest way to play the game, but it’s one that’ll make you feel more like Link than ever before. Makes you wonder if Nintendo will ever dabble with something like this!
