Bloober Team is known for crafting multiple horror experiences across platforms, and they’ve made quite a name for themselves in the genre. There’s no doubt their efforts in the horror space will continue, and now we know they’ll be bringing at least one of those projects to Nintendo’s side of things.

Strefa Inwestorow sat down for an interview with Bloober Team CEO Piotr Babieno about something the studio has in the works called Project M. According to Babieno, Project M is going to make its way to Nintendo fans at some point.

Project M, although its budget is significantly smaller than the games we are working on at Bloober Team, is extremely important due to our long-term plans. In addition, we are working on it in cooperation with the world’s best game creators for Nintendo platforms, so we cannot afford to create just a decent game.

There are no official details on what Project M is at this point, but it’s rather convenient timing that this interview snippet pop up on the same day that Nintendo shared a mysterious trailer for a game called “Emio.” It’s very easy to see the connection between Project M and Emio, at least from a naming perspective. Of course, Bloober Team being behind Emio is just speculation at this time, but we’ll stay on the prowl for more information.

It’s also worth pointing out that Bloober Team specifically said “Nintendo platforms,” which is interesting in and of itself. There’s no doubt Switch is included, but could Project M make its way to Switch’s successor as well?
