Back in April, we received word that Pix’n Love Games would be releasing a physical edition of the 2D pixel-art Metroidvania Souldiers for Nintendo Switch. At the time, pre-orders were vaguely revealed to be taking place sometime in Q2 2022, but now we finally have an exact date: Wednesday, June 1st, 2022 at 11AM ET.
Exclusively available via the Pix’n Love webstore, pre-orders for the “First Edition” physical release of Souldiers will be priced at $37.24 USD, feature reversible cover art, and be limited to 3000 copies. Presumably, regular physical copies will be available from select retailers at a later date.
A Collector’s Edition has also been announced, priced at $74.53 USD and limited to just 1300 copies. You can check out everything that’s included in this edition below.

- An exclusive cardboard sleeve.
- A certificate of authenticity numbered at 1300 copies.
- A 80-page artbook featuring an exclusive interview with the developers.

Shipments for both editions are planned for September 2022.
