Famitsu has been rather light on reviews in recent issues, and that trend continues this week. The Famitsu team has shared just two reviews this time around, but one of them is for a big game that’s right around the corner. Check out the review scores from Famitsu issue 1749 below.

  • Mario Strikers: Battle League (Switch) – 8/8/8/8 [32/40]
  • Overlord: Escape from Nazarick (Switch) – 8/8/8/7 [31/40]

8's all round for Mario Strikers: Battle League, it's not bad, but it's Famitsu(usually over generous). That often translates to like a 6.5 or a 7 in the West, though not universal. Not long until the review embargo lifts in the West.

The 2 previous Mario Sports games scored in the 70's in the West, though they were made by Camelot. This is made by Next Level Games, that should help it be a little better. But it's still following the pattern of releasing incomplete.
