Marvel's Midnight Suns was inspired by Fire Emblem, Demon Slayer, Dragon Ball, and more

We’ve been learning a lot about Marvel’s Midnight Suns in the last 24 hours, and today brings us some interesting tidbits on the surprising properties that inspired this title.

In a GamesRadar feature, Firaxis reveals some other games and anime that helped bring Marvel’s Midnight Suns to life. Believe it or not, this title takes inspiration from a bunch of other games, including Slay the Spire, Into The Breach, Persona, Fire Emblem, and Dragon Ball Fighter Z.

That’s not all for the inspiration, though. Firaxis stated that a couple of anime properties also helped make Marvel’s Midnight Suns what it is. In particular, the dev team took some ideas from Attack on Titan and Demon Slayer to help form their experience.
