Earthbound Dimensions, a fan-made 3D remake of Earthbound, gets a new trailer
Bound to be shut down by Nintendo?
Many fans have been wondering if Nintendo will ever work on a remake of Earthbound. While that question is yet to be answered, fans have stepped in to make that request a reality.
This project started back in 2020, but as you can see from today’s trailer, things are moving along quite nicely. This will largely be a recreation of the original Earthbound in 3D, but there will be some embellishments and changes along the way. Obviously, cut-scenes are going to be a big introduction, and you can see some of them in the trailer above.
This project is looking absolutely fantastic, but the more attention it gets, the more likely Nintendo will shut it down. That said, if there’s any franchise Nintendo seems to ignore fan works with, it’s Earthbound. Let’s hope they take that same approach with Earthbound Dimensions!
