Oddworld: Soulstorm was released in April 2021 on PC and Playstation, but a Nintendo Switch release was never discussed publicly. That could be changing if a new rumor is to be believed.

As discovered by user Rhythm Shift on ResetEra, a listing for a Switch release of Oddworld: Soulstorm (as well as a collector’s edition) has popped up on the web site for Dutch retailer Nedgame. According to the site, the standard edition would retail for around $50 USD, while the collector’s editon would go for around $150 USD. The release date is listed as December 31st, 2022, although that’s most likely just a placeholder.

The Switch has been host to Oddworld games in the past with Oddworld: New ‘n’ Tasty and Oddworld: Stranger’s Wrath, so it’s not outside the realm of possibility for Soulstorm to receive a Switch port as well. Certainly, more demanding games have been brought over to the Switch in the past. However, there is no official confirmation of this happening as of yet. It’s possible that this listing was just a mistake. We’ll have to wait and see if we hear anything official on this one.
