Pokémon GO’s Lush Jungle event features Cottonee, Fomantis, Tapu Lele, a weekend park spotlight, and more
It's a real jungle out there
Niantic has fully detailed the Pokémon GO Lush Jungle event, which runs from March 22nd to 29th, 2022. You can get the full rundown of what to expect for this event below.
- on March 26th and 27th, Cottonee will be appearing more frequently in parks
- for the first time in Pokémon GO, you’ll be able to encounter a Shiny Cottonee
- Fomantis, the Sickle Grass Pokémon will make its debut
- Lurantis, the Bloom Sickle Pokémon will make its debut
- Tapu Lele will make its debut
- the Season of Alola’s second Special Research story will be available at the beginning
- Timed Research focused on catching Grass-type Pokémon and exploring your area will be available
- complete the research to earn items and encounters with various event-themed Pokémon
- the following Pokémon will be appearing more frequently in the wild: Metapod, Paras, Exeggcute, Hoothoot, Sudowoodo, Fomantis, Ferroseed
- if you’re lucky, you might encounter Pinsir and Cottonee (Shiny versions also possible)
- the following Pokémon will be appearing in raids:
