Despot's Game: Dystopian Army Builder locked in for Switch release on Sept. 29th, 2022, new trailer shared
A Summer send-off
Developer Konfa Games and publisher tinyBuild had previously said that Despot’s Game: Dystopian Army Builder would come to Switch sometime in Summer of 2022. Today we’ve learned that they’re sticking to that promise, as the game now has a Sept. 29th, 2022 release. That may be very late Summer, but it’s Summer all the same. The release date info came via a new trailer, which you can see above.
Despot’s Game is a roguelike tactical auto-battler where commanders build their squad of puny humans into a legion of wizards, ninjas, and dozens of other heroes while leading them through a strange post-apocalyptic labyrinth.
Equip the unarmed masses with one of 50 weapons ranging from conventional swords and guns to ridiculous apparatuses like stale pretzels throwers, magical rabbits-in-a-hat, and damage-soaking refrigerators. Make use of 10 human classes including throwers, mages, and cultists, building up their ranks and diversifying armaments to unlock power-ups that aid in battles.
