When Mario Kart 8 Deluxe’s first Booster Course Pass wave released, people were extremely happy to see Coconut Mall make the cut. That said, the excitement quickly turned to disappointment when people noticed that the cars in Coconut Mall’s parking lot weren’t nearly the obstacle they were back in Mario Kart Wii. Instead of moving around in the parking lot, the remake’s cars sat perfectly still. Thankfully, that’s now a thing of the past.

As you’ll see above, today’s Mario Kart 8 Deluxe update has made a big change to how cars operate in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. Now Coconut Mall’s parking lot is a much more dangerous area, with cars moving and spinning all over the place. Getting to the finishing line is going to be considerably more tricky now, just as it should be!

Interesting, they added quite a bit of motion. I wonder if they'll do that for the taxis in NY minute, I just tried the course and they don't move.
