The Five Nights at Freddy’s movie spent a number of years in development hell, but it eventually got on-track. We still don’t know when the film will hit cinemas, but we do have more confirmation that things are moving along quite nicely.

In an update on work for the film, Blumhouse Productions founder Jason Blum shared a note on the animatronic creation for the film. Anyone who’s played a Five Nights at Freddy’s game knows just how important the animatronics are to the experience, and Blum clearly knows that as well. That’s why Blumhouse is teaming with the best to get things done.

Blum revealed that none other than Jim Henson’s Creature Shop is the team tasked with bringing the world of Five Nights at Freddy’s to life. There’s probably no other studio better equipped to handle such a job, as Jim Henson’s Creature Shop has created some of the most memorable and iconic animatronics and puppets that Hollywood has ever seen.

While many are worried about the overall quality of the Five Nights at Freddy’s movie, we can at least rest easy knowing the animatronics will be top-notch!
