July 2022 in Japan: Top software, hardware, and publishers

Famitsu has released their report for July 2022, where they reveal the top-selling games and consoles during the month, and once again, all top 5 games are Switch games, and that includes Nintendo’s latest JRPG hit, Xenoblade Chronicles 3, and Capcom’s Monster Hunter Rise. The best-selling system was none other than the Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo sold the most games compared to other publishers. Check out the full lists below. 2. Capcom: 240,000 units sold
3. Square-Enix: 117,000 units sold

• The Nintendo Switch OLED Model sold about 170,000 alone in July.
• Total sales for the Nintendo Switch in 2020 in Japan have reached 2,098,000.
