1+ y agoHey RMC, been really enjoying the site since it's rebirth a few months ago. Especially enjoy the 'opinion' pieces from various contributors.
Was waiting for some old features to return, so I went back and re-read Cort's inauguration to see what the game plan was only to realize that I had misread and that you *don't* intend to bring back forums and DMs. Darn, for real? There's no chance any of those things might be brought back? I would be particularly keen on having PMs reinstated.
I know the forums have ridden off into the sunset, so sadly, that's going to stay as-is. In the case of PMs, that's something that I haven't actively discussed with Cort or T27Duck, but I can certainly raise the topic in conversation. Happy to pass that on, my friend!

It's funny, during your absence, I was talking with a friend via DMs, wondering about the future of GN, reminiscing about its storied past and, among other things, we were lamenting the loss of EoD Thoughts. Again, really happy you've brought back (and then some!) original written content. Kind of fell out of gaming for a bit, but I'm easing myself back into the rhythm, so I hope to start posting more often.
On another note, knowing you're an anime fan, have you read the manga Blame! by Tsutomu Nihei? There was an anime adaptation a few years ago, but, put lightly, it doesn't do the source material justice. It's a kind of post-apocalyptic/cyber-future western. A man with no name wandering about a bleak, desolate environment filled with malicious entities and bad actors- good stuff! Give it a look!
