We’re not too sure what the full soundtrack will be for Sonic the Hedgehog 2 yet, but we now have at least one song that’ll pop up somewhere in the film.

Togolese-Israeli singer Stéphane Legar has a single in the film, and it’s titled ‘Speed Life.’ You might recognize the tune once you listen for a bit, and that’s not a coincident. ‘Speed Life’ is an updated version of Rockwell’s 1984 single, ‘Somebody’s Watching Me.’

Give the tune a listen, and see if you like this 2022 version of the original better!

This looks incredibly cheesy and not in the good way.
Also kinda hate when artists take the rhythm from an older song.

Agreed. They might argue that it's a tribute, but to me, it's just them being too lazy to come up with their own melody and/or lyrics. And that's saying nothing of the fact that this song is just bland. I don't know why they can't just bring in Crush 40 or something. I mean, they're no more obscure than whoever this rapper guy is...I think? (Seriously, who IS this guy?)

So did they localize this song per language, or are we going to have a French song in the American release???
