The focus in Splatoon 3, just like any other Splatoon, is all the online action. That said, there’s always been a rather hefty single-player experience to enjoy as well. That content not only is a great way to learn mechanics of Splatoon, but also get into the franchise’s lore and characters.

Through Splatoon and Splatoon 2, fans have come to question a handful of things in the world of Splatoon. There have been stories left open-ended and questions unanswered. Fans of the franchise have been hoping that Splatoon 3 would bring some closure, and according to developer Shintaro Sato, that will definitely be the case.

Of course, for those of you who have played the past games in this series, this mode will reveal the answers to all the mysteries that existed up until now, so I definitely hope you’ll give it a shot.

Of course, we can probably expect some all-new mysteries to crop up in Splatoon 3, but that’s all part of the fun. I guess we’ll find out in just a matter of hours, as Splatoon 3 launches Sept. 9th, 2022.
