The Switch has sold over 111 million units worldwide, but the Nintendo marketing machine continues on with fresh commercials. Today brings us two more spots for the Switch, and both were made with the Australian audience in mind.

Usually these lifestyle commercials spotlight a few different games, but Nintendo is taking a different approach this time. Both commercials focus completely on Splatoon 3, which clearly has the lion’s share of Nintendo’s attention right now.

Along with that, both commercials feature the same set of actors, and they take place in the same scenario; a birthday/slumber party. How or why Nintendo settled on this theme is beyond us, but I guess they have some market research somewhere that shows this as the direction to head in!
