Lighting up the Kickstarter charts
Just last week, we covered the announcement of Guns Undarkness, a “stealth RPG” from Shoji Meguro, the composer and director of the “Persona” and “Shin Megami Tensei” series’. Guns Undarkness is in development now, but last week’s announcement revealed that an official Kickstarter was on the way. That Kickstarter is now live, and you can find it here. The base funding goal is for a PC release of the game, but there is also Switch stretch goal. Unfortunately, we don’t yet know what figure that stretch goal sits at.
Guns Undarkness combines typical stealth game features such as remaining undetected and invading antagonist’s territory, with the traditional command type JRPG. The gameplay is roughly divided into two parts: a stealth part that hides on the field and a battle part that is developed by a turn-based command-type battle system. Encountering without being found by the enemy allows you to enter the battle in an advantageous manner. Aim for the depths of the antagonist’s territory while managing your resources well.
