Just yesterday, the official New York Comic-Con Twitter account revealed that they’ll be sharing the debut teaser trailer for Illumination’s Super Mario movie on October 6th, 2022. Nintendo fans the world over are counting down the minute until that teaser’s debut, but one lucky person out there has already seen it…and apparently it’ll be worth the wait.

Chris Pratt, the man behind the voice of Mario in the movie, took to Twitter to share that he’s seen the teaser trailer. You can read his thoughts on what he saw below.

Now obviously Pratt isn’t going to utter a single bad word about the film, but we still can’t help but be excited. Let’s hope Chris’ words ring true when we all see the teaser trailer in a couple of weeks.

People will say this is just PR and it probably is, but also remember when you’re involved in making a movie you have very little idea how the final thing is going to look. More so when you’re just doing voice work.

No you can't promise something like that. I hate when people say stuff like that. Really hoping it's good.

I have faith, especially since Nintendo is so hands on this time around. Don't forget back then Mario wasn't really the Mario we all know and love today. The 1993 movie flopped because they were given free creative license from Nintendo.

They were experimenting with the franchise and were dipping into other currently popular things at the time. The directors also didn't listen and weren't familiar with the series. Nintendo had also believed Mario was strong enough name alone. So they might've just stood back.

But seeing how Nintendo is willing to make movies with their characters again shows promise. Especially with how well Detective Pikachu did. If it helps anyone, Nintendo almost made Disney pull Bowser from Wreck-It-Ralph if he didn't hold his teacup as a king would.

So I'm excited,I just hope that they either post the trailer on Youtube or someone records it so we all can see it.
