Satoru Iwata defends company's stance on keeping young eyes away from 3D mode on 3DS

The following information comes from Satoru Iwata…

- Nintendo doesn’t believe the 3DS to be dangerous
- this information was put out to educate consumers
- it’s also available to keep lawsuits from hitting Nintendo
- Nintendo always aims to share info with customers, but outside of this one goal, they would not release a warning that could hurt sales
- Iwata still says some specialists think that 3D visuals could hurt younger eyes
- this warning has a lot to do with the amount of time children spend playing games
- system packaging and manual will have 3D visual warnings as well
