Metroid will never, NEVER, be as big as Zelda. Or Kirby. Or Animal Crossing. Or Yoshi. Or Smash. Or Wario. Or DK. Or Pokemon. Or the Wii series. Or Mario Kart.

To be on topic, I love this show. Can't wait.

I'll just throw this; having just a single interesting character makes it hard to makes movies, series or any other cross media project that could sprout exposition for the series. If anything that's why the manga needed to add characters that are not present in the games (some which were added after).

Even in Smash it has been hard to add another character from that series since more or less because it seems it wouldn't mix well with the rest of the roster.

If anything I could hope Nintendo gives it a shot for a live action series for two reasons, exposition and addition to series that wants to grow but doesn't see how.

Never say never. 50 or 100 years from now Metroid might be really big.

"Metroid will never, NEVER, be as big as... Kirby. "

I dunno, outside of OG Dreamland, both series have roughly the same distribution of sales.

Kirby just has the benefit of getting waaaaay more games, lol.

This should totally makeup for having that pewpepwewpepw guy.

I could not believe the way girls were screaming for him... like he's a Beatle in the 60's! But without the, you know, talent.

Seeing Symphony of the Goddesses on Tuesday night at the Barclays Center in NYC, can't wait!
That's awesome that Colbert's having them on--I think he's been doing a great job so far!

Man, Colbert is all about the gaming community lately.

That's two days before I see them live. I'll probably skip the show (like I always do).
