Danny DeVito has no idea what Detective Pikachu is

If you were holding out hope for Danny DeVito to voice Pikachu in Detective Pikachu, you might want to sit down. Turns out Danny DeVito doesn't have any idea what the project is, nor does he even know what Pokemon is. I'm sure he does actually know about Pokemon and was making a joke, but it was very clear during an interview that he has no ties to the project. Oh well, I guess we'll have to find another actor we want to play the role!
