Zelda tops the gaming conversation charts on Twitter at E3 2016

With #E32016 drawing to a close today, Twitter has taken a look at the most talked about titles of the conference following a week of press conferences, gameplay reveals, ‘behind-the-scenes’ sneak peaks and hands on demo’s.

Zelda: Breath of the Wild from @NintendoAmerica is coming out on top of the charts with more than double the number of mentions of its nearest rival, @Battlefield. Sneaking in at last place, news that Vicarious Visions are working to remaster fan favourite Crash Bandicoot has helped him secure his spot in the top ten.

Twitter is where game publishers, the gaming media, popular game streamers and entertainers, eSports leagues, teams, players and commentators interact with their most engaged fans and with one another. Last year, there were nearly 84 million Tweets about gaming in 2015 in the US alone, according to Crimson Hexagon.

Well, it really looks great...

But since when does GN have ads? -_-

They always had ads except for May 2015- May 2016, then the deal with BoI and Gonintendo ended.

They put an announcement saying they were gonna put them back due to an end to an agreement with a partner that was supporting the site for it to be ad-free. DON'T take my word for it, since I don't know the details but it was something along those lines.

I know it doesn't mean sales or anything. It's just an observation.

Nintendo dedicates it's booth to only one game and it's the most commented game on show. I know several will say it's because they have nothing else, but I just can't think of another publisher pulling something like this. Sony nor M$ if they ever showed only one new exclusive it'll not be likely that they'll pull this.

Nostalgia really is strong with crowds in this era.

P.S. Also FIFA.... makes me doubt my first paragraph. Nintendo really needs that if anything to get the sales for NX. I can believe that's what sustains several Xbox Ones moreso than their exclusives.

P.S. Also FIFA...

I honestly don't get it either, it's the most bought and thrown away type of game there is. Sports games are the anomaly of the gaming world. We don't know exactly why/how they are THAT successful and yet so easily discarded after only a few months, but they are. Guess, sportsfan logic explains that?

It's the other consoles pumice(?). For all intents and purposes, one would think that it couldn't possibly float and yet is what has mainly kept the other consoles afloat for so long. Maybe that's why they spend soo much to keep them happy, otherwise they'd sink like a differently densed rock.

It makes me wonder, what are they talking about of FIFA? Does it gets mixed with the true FIFA? Is the story mode even more of a bigger deal than I'm imagining? I mean it's there a demo I missed showing all the new clubs and features on it?

I'll admit ignorance, but is there a lot of things to comment about FIFA as a videogame?

I'm pretty sure FIFA is soccer. And soccer has global appeal. Soccer fans are numerous. Why they decide that a VG platform over the actual physical sport is intriguing enough to justify a $400+ purchase is beyond me, other than, AGAIN, sportsfan logic. These are the same kind of people that ACTUALLY BELIEVE in "Fantasy Football" type of deals(that go as far as even throwing so much REAL money at). I honestly do not get most of it. For what ever reason, it happens. It's cheap, and that's the other consoles main staple to draw up 'feigned'/inflated stats.

Story Mode, in a sports game(that isn't a Nintendo IP)?
How does that even. . .

There shouldn't be, but amongst FIFA fans, they speak their own language. And again, there are many of them, so.

You misunderstand me, Nintendo games barely have a story mode. However FIFA a 20 iteration franchise has never had one. They've had one with Mario in it. But they've never have had a story mode. My question is; it's this a big deal?

Also fair enough, fans from the series could even debate about how FIFA Melee is better than the new FIFA 4 Next Gen.

Boom. All it takes is one game.

I mean not surprising to me especially since Nintendo was the last to declare their announcements i had totally forgotten about the other games lol but I am a Nintendo fan.
