Super Mario Adventures comic book getting reprint

Super Mario Adventures, inspired by the bestselling Super Mario video game franchise, is a collection of comics that originally ran in Nintendo Power magazine in 1992-93. The peril-plagued Princess Toadstool is kidnapped by the diabolical deadbeat Bowser but super plumbers Mario and Luigi hatch a plan with their new friend Yoshi to rescue her. Are the Super Mario Bros' plans a pipe dream? Can they stop the Koopa King before he forces the Princess to be his bride?! Long out of print, this stunning, full-color graphic novel is now available once again!

If you haven't read these, nows your chance. Take my word for it, it's outright amazing and exactly what a Mario manga should be.

YES! I was hoping after the rerelease of the Zelda manga a while back that VIZ would get their hands on the Mario companion book.

Definitely agree with the above post. Super Mario Adventures is outstanding.

I adore this comic. Great humor, Peach is kickass, and has awesome art.

That's awesome. This comic is so great!

I remember reading this in Nintendo Power and had the first book. Loved it and I'll totally buy it again. I would kill for a Mario RPG with this art and these funny versions of the cast.

Not only a great read, but possibly an influence on later games in the series, i.e. the design of Yo'ster Isle in Super Mario RPG and the "Luigi dresses up as Peach to deceive the enemy" plot in the first Mario & Luigi.

So worth checking out for that too.

I'm here for a quick PSA, for those who might be interested of this comic series but has links with the videos made by Channel Awesome.

For the love of God, don't -I repeat DON'T- watch the Nostalgia Critic Editorial video about this Super Mario comic if you're vaguely interested to read this for yourself someday... It basically spoils every major twist of this series. Not kidding!

Oh man, I remember this! It was awesome! I read it on the internet (because I don't think it's physically available here) sadly, but I might just get it now that I can

I actually still have my old copy of this. I still love it.

I wonder if the reprint will also have the Mario vs Wario short at the end too
