Eurogamer to have new Switch news tomorrow

UPDATE - Eurogamer has confirmed the rumors by saying, "we'll have a new Nintendo Switch report on Eurogamer tomorrow."

I mean, you have the two biggest names in Nintendo rumors both stating that Eurogamer is going to have some info tomorrow. I'd say the chances of this actually happening are pretty damn close to 100%

I get why rumor-mongers did their thing while Nintendo was silent, before they officially announced the Switch. But now that we know when the next round of information is coming, rumors are at best obnoxious, and at worst spoilers for no reason. I wish they'd just stop.

So if it turns out to be false, will you stop giving Emily so much credit for her "rumours"?

Eurogamer just announced it themselves. Honestly, cut out the middleman here.... it's hardly a leak by Emily Rogers or even Laura Kate Dale.

Do you notice that Eurogamer announcing it themselves is an UPDATE, meaning these two "rumormongers" were RIGHT IN ADVANCE? Sheesh.

I agree - why such negativity towards these two?

They weren't right in advance... they just heard it from Eurogamer before RMC did, basically. Sheesh.

Right... so they're the ones that RMC heard about it from, so they're the ones that he reported about it with. What's the big deal? It's not like either of them think they're breaking some sort of rumor, they're just reporting it to whoever follows them on Twitter to let them know.

Because they are irrelevant to the information.

No they're not, that's how RMC got the information for this article...

Calzoom: since it turned out to be right, will you stop hatin'?

Do you even know what inside information or leaks are? Check out Eurogamers thing tomorrow... that might qualify. Being quick to report that Eurogamer will report something is NOT inside information. Sheesh.

They never claimed inside information: they said "check out Eurogamer tomorrow for some major Switch info." YOU'RE the one making it into a big dramatic thing.

You're exactly right. They did not have any inside information.

This is such a leaky week.

Unless it's something that Nintendo won't actually ever reveal/talk about. Coming from Eurogamer, my guess is it has something to do with specs/architecture, and that's something Nintendo has never (and probably won't ever) really talk about.

Fair point, but I can easily imagine them divulging specs Nintendo would talk about, like a multi-touch screen and IR pointers on each joy-con to simulate touching the screen when the system is docked.

Halo Switch confirmed

Aren't Eurogamer's Switch articles just confirmations of Emily & Laura's rumors? Isn't it usually the same info? Is Eurogamer's news going to be different than what Emily & Laura already revealed?

God damn this is getting more silly from day to day. The leaker leaked stuff the other leaker leaked before. Maybe I should leak something too because I may know what Shigeru Miyamoto and Eiji Aonuma ordered at McDonald's/Pizza Hut at the 18th of November 2009.

The NS will teach white men how to jump confirned!

Probably not anything important.
