Today is "Let's Celebrate the two possibly weakest entries for two popular series" day :p

I see Metroid up there, so was Shadow Dragon no good?

It's basically Fire Emblem 1 (Famicom) with a coat of DS graphics paint and English translations. The devs did not modernize all of FE 1 in bringing the game to the DS. This resulted in low sales and caused the next FE remake (New Mystery of the Emblem) to stay in Japan only. So Shadow Dragon almost killed the Fire Emblem series for good until Awakening rescued the series from the brink.

Happy Aniversary, Metroid!
