I wonder what the Korok puzzles are?

As I clicked on the link to this blog post I was thinking there were only going to be about 20 Shrine mini-dungeons. Color me surprised to find out there are a HUNDRED more.

You must have missed the E3 Treehouse footage. We learned back then that there were over 100. I predicted 120. Nailed it! You can also use shrines as a fast travel point when you beat them.

"900 seed puzzles" What the heck is a Korok seed puzzle? On a related note, this game is going to take forever to 100%. And I'm okay with that.

Well, remember when they showed Link diving from a cliff into a ring of lilipad things, causing a Korok to reveal itself? I assume that is the kind of puzzle they mean. ^^ Getting them to reveal themselves.

120 Shrines! 120 Stars.
Mario and Link must be best friend than!

BUT seriously Nintendo do Love thier 120 as a "even" thing.

IT will at LEAST take 20h to complete them all with a guide, so maybe 40h without guide,
Which make that part to a whole Zelda game and with this other stuff, this game will be like 3-4 game in one,
Which make IT a great launch-game.

Not quite sure where you're getting 3-4 games in one from, if this games takes about 50 hours to 100% that's pretty standard for a Zelda game.

I think what SwedishGalaxy was saying, though I shouldn't really speak for them, is that just the shrines alone sound like the length of a full Zelda game. Add to that story quests, boss battles, side missions, the 900 seed puzzles, the "real" dungeons, collecting resources and crafting, etc... and we're probably looking at many hours of content above and beyond what it took to 100% past Zelda games.

M is real 2401

So..there are regular dungeons and quests as well, right? The description kind of alludes to that, but there hasn't been much talk about full sized dungeons

Back before last E3, one of the rumors put out that first said "over 100 mini dungeons" said something along the lines of 4-5 real dungeons.

Aonuma & Miyamoto have both implied real dungeons before as well.

4-5 makes a lot of sense, though, going by the map's reverse side. 4 Titan Guardians & Calamity Ganon.

I really hope there are still a handful of real dungeons in there. I'd really miss them if not. It would be great if they were super challenging, requiring the player to buff up enough before taking them on, and reward the player with some of the more permanent items in the game.

I also hope they are very challenging. Would be refreshing.

This is nothing compared to XenoBlade 1's quest. Don't worry Nin is hell bent on making sure we get game over just by looking at the title screen. That's how challenging its going to get, so we're going to be raging quitting a lot lol.

900 of anything is too much. At least they're optional.

You even have the option to head straight for (presumably) Ganon from the start screaming like a naked wild man XP there was a funny pic that portrayed someone warning Ganon of it, but can't find it anymore lol

Man, that is one sweet-looking guide book. I think I'd pre-order it for that reason alone if it weren't for the fact that there are so many better alternatives to a printed guide book.
