Nintendo says "stuck/dead" pixels on the Switch screen aren't a defect

The following comes from Nintendo UK's website...

There are black or bright dots on the Nintendo Switch screen that do not go away, or there are dark or light patches on the screen.

Applies to: Nintendo Switch

Small numbers of stuck or dead pixels are a characteristic of LCD screens. These are normal and should not be considered a defect.

Even with this stance, Nintendo will still replace a unit like this if you call them up and share the issue. Hopefully no one is dealing with the problem to begin with!
