Digital Eclipse says "there's always a chance" The Disney Afternoon Collection could come to Switch

Not going to lie...I was pretty sad to see The Disney Afternoon Collection wasn't coming to Switch. Capcom has said there are no plans at this time, but the developer behind the title seems open to the idea. Now we just have to spread the word!

I'm pretty baffled by the exclusion of Switch. DuckTales: Remastered sold better on Wii U than PS4 and Xbox One, even with a significantly smaller install base. Why should Nintendo owners have to spend time contacting Capcom for a chance at getting this game when they have proven that not only do they want this content, but they're more likely to purchase it than their PS4 and Xbox One-owning counterparts?

After thinking some about it, is it not unprecedented if a collection of 6 Nes games gets rereleased, on only a platform that aren't a Nintendo system?

This is just really weird. Has Sony and MS struck some sort of deal with Capcom? Only thing that makes a little sense.

People are tweeting full force to Capcom. I want to see more of it!

How would one go about tell Capcom that The Disney Afternoon Collection needs to come to the NS?

I asked the same question too! I LOVE Disney! Don't you dare disappoint me, Capcom!

okay done. Sent them a tweet. Now we wait.

How much you want to bet Switch will get the games individually on the Virtual Console for $5 a piece?

Oh wow, I must have missed the announcement of this collection. It's going to be so much fun revisiting Ducktales and Rescue Rangers. Some of the others are kind of rare so those will be a first for me. Smile

The co-op in Rescue Rangers would be perfect for Switch! I could get this on Xbox One, but I'd rather have it on Switch, for sure.

Yeah that's a pretty bizarre omission. I mean they are doing SFII… Why not this?

"Sorry kids, you have to consume your fingertips complaining about this to the publisher in order to have a game on your system!" Truly wondrous time we're living in...

(but it's Digital Eclipse; I sorta get it why is it this way)
