Fire Emblem Heroes – Arena

- rewards you get for battling at the Arena are based on a tier system
- from Tier 4, you also get Orbs along with the usual Hero Feathers
- all participants get a reward, but the higher your tier, the better the rewards
- promotion or demotion happens once the current season is over, and it’s based on your rank
- demotion can only happens for players in Tier 8 and onward
- developers specify that your rank now depends on the number of participants
- new rules will take effect from May 9th when the new Arena season goes live
- you'll start from the Tier you made it to prior to the update
- Bonus Heroes now affect your Defense score
- if you successfully defend with one of those, you will get double the usual amount of points
- new set of maps that include defensive terrain
- if a Hero is standing on a defensive terrain tile, they will receive a damage reduction of 30% of their Def or Res.

- the army at a disadvantage ( losing for more than 1h) will get a time-limited boost
- the number added to the score when you vote will be multiplied by 3 for a limited time
- this x3 bonus also applies to your personal score
- if both armies are at equal strength, there will be no bonus for anyone

- Adjustments to Training Tower difficulty
- levels of enemies appearing in Strata 8 and 9 have been adjusted
- maps have also been changed there
- addition of gameplay tips when you launch the game, and while waiting for loading

- the issue where the ! would not appear in Special Maps has been fixed
- the issue where the ! would not appear during an event has been fixed

[Summoning Focus] To prepare for the upcoming “Battle of the Mages” Voting Gauntlet event, two new Summoning Focuses are now available. The first one, “Female Mages” includes Sanaki, Tharja, Linde, and Julia. The second one, “Male Mages”, includes Henry, Leo, Robin, and Merric.
[Log-in Bonus] To celebrate the release of the latest update, every player gets 2 Orbs each day as a special log-in bonus (until May 15th);
[Event] The EXP x1.5 Event is back, and allows players to get x1.5 the usual amount of XP in Story Maps, Training Tower, Special Maps, and the Arena (until May 15th)

Third Voting Gauntlet - “Battle of the Mages”

- pits various mages against each other
- will take place from May 12th to May 18th
- rounds all last 45 hours

Round 1: May 12th to May 14th
Round 2: May 14th to May 16th
Final Round: May 16th to May 18th

- these characters are currently available in two Summoning Focuses
- you get the usual bonus if you play as the Hero whose army you decide to join
- the losing army gets a x3 score bonus for a limited time
- tournament to determine who among the characters listed above is the most popular
- select a Hero to support among those listed above to join their army
- you will not be able to change after that until your army loses
- you cannot see how many points each Army has until you join
- go to battle by pressing the “Battle” button
- battles are 3 vs 3, with your team being automatically created using you, a friend and someone from your army
- the leader will be the ally placed in the leftmost slot of the first team
- winning battles gives you the chance to vote
- each vote increases your Army’s score
- the number of votes actually gets a boost based on the number of friends you have
- you also get one if your leader is the same character as the Hero of the Army you chose
- Army Score and ranks are updated regularly
- use Battle Flags, which multiply votes
- get flags through a log-in bonus or special voting gauntlet quests
- you can join Round 2 or the Final one even if you didn’t join Round 1
- you don’t have to participate in all of them
- if your Army happens to lose, you can always seek revenge by joining another Army for the next Round

The more you battle, the more rewards you will get.

Grand Rewards for all players taking part in the event, determined by the overall voting score. If the overall voting score exceeds 10 billion, then all players will get the following.

The overall voting score will be announced after the event ends (on May 18th). The Grand Rewards will be distributed to players as a special log-in bonus.
