Zelda: Breath of the Wild's Dueling Peaks based on a real-life mountain

Dueling Peaks is one of the more iconic visuals in Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Chances are you came across it early in the game, and revisited a number of times. Turns out the unique mountain was actually inspired by a real life location.

This mountain can be found in Sado Island in Japan, and it certainly looks almost exactly like Dueling Peaks. This isn't the first time we've seen Breath of the Wild turn a real-life location into video game content. Now we'll have to dig deeper and see what else is hidden away in the game!
