"Improvements to prevent unintended HDMI input change with certain TVs while the console is docked in Sleep Mode"

That's the one I've been waiting for.

Just an FYI, the max volume thing is because they UPPED the max volume. It's much louder now when wearing headphones.

Also they changed "Played for a few minutes" to "Played for a Little bit."

I believe they also added a volume slider to the home menu quick menu too, it's next to brightness.

Thats definitely good news. Headphones were not loud enough at all.

Please, for the love of a god, tell me that it makes the Switch a more pleasurable experience. I won't download it otherwise.

It's a joke referencing the BotW updates.

*facepalm* That went over my head.

I was hoping for a better wifi signal connection :-(
May never get this as update, thought.

Controller finder is the best new feature!

...And still no cloud saves. šŸ˜µ

Decent sounding update otherwise. It's full of a bunch of unexpected tweaks.

Nice update with handy features. I just hope increasing the wifi signal is another bonus, as that would make this perfect

Some people are saying that it did increase the Wifi signal, but it could be a placebo.

I was actually thinking about the lack of a volume slider in the Quick Settings the other day. It was weird that you could do so much in there, but not wirelessly adjust the volume, so glad they worked on that.

Also glad they upped the max headphone volume. Also surprising, as Nintendo is notorious for keeping that stuff low.

Well, the option is only there when in handheld and tabletop mode, not on TV mode (well, usually you'll just change the TV volume, but when you use headphones in TV mode like me (I have a roommate and he voice chat very often), well... that would have been usefull? Oh well.

Nothing too major. Hopefully the next update adds a little more...

Hopefully soon we can get video streaming apps and virtual console.

No update for the saves transfer/backup? That's something that need to get sorted out asap.

Could... could it be...? An actual update that does something besides "stability"?

THEY FINALLY DID IT!!!

Nintendo is capable of making meaningful system updates! The drought is over!

I find something about this quite funny. No doubt will be a very useful feature when your kids lose the tiny joycons, but the whole "MY CONTROLLER IS CONNECTED BUT I CAN'T FIND IT WITHIN MY LIVING ROOM" makes me chuckle.

Even though I am messy as Hell, I find my joy-cons in the chaos. I have order in my chaos. But I do love the feature. They are damn small, them cons. But, yeah, it is funny Smile

Ah, a nice ol' surprise QoL update for the Nintendo Switch [desirable hardware leads to actual incentive for system updates, who knew?]!

That headphone thing is perfect for me. After some 23 years of going to concerts I need this :D

This semi-solves the friend code issue: just add them on Wii U first and you'll never need to use FC on Switch.XD

I noticed my wifi is now a full three bars instead of the usual two. So did they upgrade the wifi then?
