Japan - Long lines for Switch lotteries continue to grow

Yodobashi Camera in Tokyo’s Akihabara had another Switch lottery where people had the chance to purchase a Switch. They happened to have 250 in stock. Wondering how many people showed up? Estimates put the line at 3,000 people. Yeah, it's safe to say most of these people went home empty-handed today.

Lines like this are continuing all over Japan, as Nintendo fights to keep up with demand. You can check out more pics of various lines here.

The hype train won't last forever, early adopters are willing to try new things than they would late into the game.
