A Duel Hand Disaster: Trackher coming to Switch

A Duel Hand Disaster: Trackher is a split-screen single player twin stick risk 'em up in which your score is meaningless unless you exist. You control two ships simultaneously. Your primary goal is to get the highest score possible, however the only way to keep your score is to leave the level with it. Every new run will wipe your leaderboard progress so playing till death is not an option.

On every consecutive successful run you will wager all or part of your previous score, essentially creating a bucket of points that you can earn as a bonus. You will also unlock a new tier with new challenges and a higher base score multiplier. To earn your wager you must reach it through destruction. Upon a successful extraction, you will earn your wager as a bonus. You may leave before reaching the wager but you will not receive the bonus.

The screen is split with the HR-D on the left side (Assault) and the DF-R on the right side (Recovery). The HR-D does not take damage while the DF-R does. If the DF-R is destroyed the game is over. Damage is permanent, however you do earn a bonus the lower your health is.

PowerCells will upgrade the HR-D's rate of fire and unlock new weapons
If Trackers pass you they will spawn on the Recovery Side
Only the Repeater will chain the multiplier and keep the DF-R's shield active

Recover Material : your Assault Score will be multiplied by this amount on EXTRACTION
Material must be sacrificed to keep the link active between the HR-D and DF-R
Parts are required for EXTRACTION
Parts also unlock the DF-R's defenses

MATERIAL management is crucial as it is also the final multiplier upon EXTRACTION
While the DF-R is recovering resources make sure the HR-D is destroying enemies to take advantage of the RECOVERY BONUS
In order to keep your score the LINK must be active and EXTRACTION must at 100%
The HR-D must defend the entrance to the Zastrus Core otherwise they will come for the DF-R's resources and cause heavy damage

Live Leaderboards - Every new run wipes your leaderboard progress. You must EXTRACT to keep your score
Quick to pick up and play : no cutscenes

Looks pretty dang cool.

Reading that was so convoluted. My initial reaction was surprisingly irate: I felt somehow offended that they had even made a game like this. The more I think about it though, I realize it doesn't actually make me *mad* per se, I would just rather eat bugs than ever play something like this, let alone pay for it. You know. Not mad, *per se*.
