Miiverse service officially ending on November 8, 2017

Nintendo has announced that it will close the Miiverse service on November 8, 2017. This includes the versions on both Wii U and Nintendo 3DS as well as the dedicated web page. From that specific point in time, Miiverse features will become unusable in supported software titles. Messages, old or new, will no longer be displayed in those games either. 

Some of you might be wondering about Super Mario Maker, considering it posts the level ID to a Miiverse page. Nintendo has made note that you can continue to upload levels to the server. In addition to this, the company will allow you to download your post history, though no specific timeline has been announced. More information on both matters will be announced at a later date.
