Dear Reader:
RUMOR - More details on how to unlock Golf on your Switch
Golf on flog has been launched! Only seems to work on 1.0.0 systems that have never been connected to the Internet. via Delta Nite (gbatemp) pic.twitter.com/EapV4xAZ5U

To trigger golf you need to set system date to 11th July (date when Iwata passed) then do a joycon-motion (probably a golf swing?)

The required joycon motion is approx 1.5 seconds long. Not sure which screen you have to be on. Haven't been able to trigger anything myself

Seems it uses cached network time, so if you ever connected your Switch online it can't be fooled. Have to wait till next July to play it :( https://t.co/D54M0fjGYD

Secret combo is the "directly to you" motion with one joycon in each hand. It is detected by a small state machine with 7 states.

This all seems to tie in with the July 11th date. If your Switch has ever been connected to the internet, you won't be able to try this out again until July 11th. If you have a Version 1.0.0 Switch, you can still do it. On July 11th, you must have both Joy-Cons detached, and at the same time, do a "directly to you" Iwata motion. Thanks to T27Duck for the heads up!
